Olutayo FC of Ilorin today confirmed their professionalism on lowly rated Gambari United of Ogbomoso by walloping them 3 – 0 in a Friendly Match played at Baptist Comprehensive College, Gambari.
The National amateur side scored their first goal from Semiu Rahim in the 27th Minutes of the game.
All efforts by Gambari side to lift their game were curtailed by Olutayo boys who scored their second goal in 40th minutes from a nice lowly outside 18 yard boy by Chindo Babangida.
Series of changes were made in the second half by the Ogbomoso side’s Technical crew to rise to the occasion but it was Tope Ogunlabi’s last minutes goal in the second half that actually broke the hearts of Gambari fans who had hope of recording at least a goal in the highly explosive game.
Speaking with Olalekan Sulaiman of Joafjoeworld after the match, the owner of Olutayo FC, Dr. Olutayo an indigene of Ogbomoso gave the kudos to the Gambari United, and he charged them to always move out of their domain and play more friendly games with other matured teams.
Although, Gambari United were just crowned the champions of a specific competition hosted by Tewure Community in Oriire local government, Oyo State.
